Location: HQ Someren, Netherlands
Hours: 32-40 hours per week, hybrid (min. 3 days in office)

What will you be doing? 
As Buyer Cosmetics you are responsible for the purchasing process of our cosmetics products. You will ensure that our assortment perfectly matches the needs of our customers and that we work with the best suppliers. Your tasks include: 

• Develop purchasing strategy: Identify trends and translate them into a strategic and profitable assortment. 
• Supplier management: Maintain and expand contacts with suppliers, negotiate prices, delivery times and quality requirements. 
• Inventory management: Monitor inventory levels and make timely adjustments to ensure optimal availability. 
• Quality control: Ensure the highest quality of products and packaging in collaboration with R&D and Marketing. 
• Price analysis & margins: Monitor cost structure and ensure healthy profit margin. 
• Sustainability & innovation: Thinking along on sustainable purchasing strategies and innovative product developments. 

Who are you? 

• You have a HBO/WO education completed in a relevant direction (e.g. Commercial Economics, Supply Chain, International Business). 
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Purchaser/ Buyer, preferably in the cosmetics or beauty industry. 
• Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen. 
• Knowledge of trends and developments Within the beauty industry. 
• Analytical, planned and results-oriented. 
• Experience with ERP systems and Excel is a plus. 
• You speak and write fluently Dutch and English.
